The course is a pleasure to play and has enough set tees for any skill level as long as the group plays the right tees.

Heron Glen is an amazing find for a public (municipal) golf course. From the moment you arrive and are greeted by the enthusiastic young men who take your clubs and set up your cart to the pro shop, on course and snack bar staff, the treatment is like a private club. The course is in great condition, play moves along at a 4 to 4 1/2 hour pace and the price cannot be beat--$43 for a non-resident, senior with cart!!

One of the nicest county courses in NJ. Great conditions considering the amount of play it gets.

The course is in top condition. Pace of play has never exceeded 4 hours for a foursome in carts and the price, for non-resident, senior can't be beat--$41 with cart included. Lack of a clubhouse is the only negative, but it is still a great value.

Great links layout, challenging difficulty and length. Not your old 'wide open', abused public course. One of the finer Public Links Ive played.

this is a fun course with a lot of challenge, nicely conditioned and fairly priced for seniors on weekdays. we will be back again soon.

Fast true greens, lush fairways and penalizing rough all reasonably priced and offer a fair test to golfers of any skill level. I would highly recommend Heron Glen. The only problem is the lack of dining and bar facilities onsite.

Great course. Very well maintained. The only negative is the condition of the sand in the traps. Lots of stones mixed in. I have played this course a number of times this year and will play again. Definately recommend this course.

I thoroughly enjoyed my golfing experience at Heron Glen. Playing through the beautiful hills of Hunterdon County, makes the round even more enjoyable. Every New Jersey golfer should play her at least once!
